So if you haven't heard of CRNKN aka Gabriel Baer then you're missing out. A native of New Hampshire, CRNKN is on the rise and quickly ascending through the rans of the EDM world. A while back I heard him on a site called Turntable.Fm and since that day he has only grown as an artist. Initially Gabe experimented with all kinds of electronic music, finding minor success in many fields. However, recently it seems this DJ has found his calling within the genre of Trap music. This style of music is a bit slower than your traditional form of EDM but provides the same hard hitting energy. His tracks are filled with heavy 808 and drum kit oriented beats all of which never fail to please. Only last year was CRNKN an opener at shows, but now he is supporting major acts and even headlining his own shows. He's recently worked with artists such as Protohype and Expendable Youth but has also recieved praise from the likes of Flosstradam and Diplo.
