MADEON

This is Madeon, the 18 year old EDM prodigy. Born in France, this producer got an early start at the young age of 11. He quickly gained recognition in the EDM world for his remix of a track by Pendulum (The Island). Madeon has made a rise to the top before even releasing an album. In 2012 he played at some of the biggest music festivals including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza, and Electric Daisy Carnival. For such a small person Madeon creates some of the most powerful songs in all of electronic music. Personally I've found myself comparing him to an upbeat version of NERO. Some of his most recent work includes a song called "The City" (seen below) and "Stay Awake" (the latest song of the day). Another recent accomplishment for the young producer was making the DJ Mag Top 100 Dj's list, he came in at #54 in all the world. Unfortunately for us Madeon will not be here until his NYC show on the 28th of December because he is currently on tour in Europe. CRNKN

So if you haven't heard of CRNKN aka Gabriel Baer then you're missing out. A native of New Hampshire, CRNKN is on the rise and quickly ascending through the rans of the EDM world. A while back I heard him on a site called Turntable.Fm and since that day he has only grown as an artist. Initially Gabe experimented with all kinds of electronic music, finding minor success in many fields. However, recently it seems this DJ has found his calling within the genre of Trap music. This style of music is a bit slower than your traditional form of EDM but provides the same hard hitting energy. His tracks are filled with heavy 808 and drum kit oriented beats all of which never fail to please. Only last year was CRNKN an opener at shows, but now he is supporting major acts and even headlining his own shows. He's recently worked with artists such as Protohype and Expendable Youth but has also recieved praise from the likes of Flosstradam and Diplo. STAR SLINGER

Meet Star Slinger a DJ and producer based out of the UK. This man possesses a talent unlike any that I have ever seen. Star Slinger can take a song and remix it into a whole new work of art. If you're looking for some fist pumping electro he might not be the go to guy, but if you're just down to chill give him a listen. He specializes in a type of electronic music that I like to call Indie Electronica. Vocal loops and samples are a huge part of his tracks as you will notice in most every song he produces. Star Slinger may not be for everyone but if you like him I wouldn't be surprised if you have his music on repeat all day. Below I've provided a sample song and link to his soundcloud. Enjoy!
